About the NGO

Jagshanti Sharnam Foundation is a Rewa-based non-profit that serves people through health, education, elder care, food and women empowerment.

Who we are

A neighbourhood foundation with a simple belief.

Jagshanti Sharnam Foundation is a non-profit organisation working from Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. Our name carries two ideas: jagshanti, peace for the world, and sharnam, shelter for those who need it.

The logo shows it well: two people lifting a child toward the sun, held by open hands. That is how we see our work. We lift, we protect and we walk with people until they can stand on their own.

  • Focus on five basic needs: health, education, elders, food and women’s independence.
  • Local work, led from Rewa, where we know the families we serve.
  • Open to volunteers, partners and donors who want to help.

Our mission

To serve people in need with health support, education, food, elder care and women empowerment, and to make giving simple and trustworthy for every donor.

Our vision

A community where every child learns, every elder is cared for, every family eats, and every woman can decide her own future.

What guides us

Seva. Sahayog. Samarpan.

Our motto is also our promise. These three words decide how we work every day.

सेवा

Seva: service without expectation

We help because someone needs help, not because of what we get in return.

सहयोग

Sahayog: cooperation

Real change takes families, volunteers, donors and local partners working together.

समर्पण

Samarpan: dedication

We stay with the work, so support continues long after the first visit.
